Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhurwa (Tupudana) P.S. Case No. 151 of 2023, S.T. Case No. 782 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 376(1)/307/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, thereafter, cognizance taken under Sections 376(1), 504, 506 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Arvind Kumar-2, learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XX, Ranchi.
Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 830 of 2025, by order dated 04.02.2025.
The petitioner, who is a married person is alleged to have raped the prosecutrix.
The statement of the victim has been recorded during trial, in which, she has supported the allegation of rape but she has also stated that there was some dispute between her and the petitioner.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
