Heard Mr.M.Ibohal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Y.Ashang, learned PP for the State.
By the present application the petitioner approached this court for releasing him on bail for the FIR No.578(11)2024 u/s 111(4)/61(2)(B) Arms Act 1959, Imphal Police Station.
It is submitted that petitioner has been granted bail in all other matters except the present one.
Mr.Ibohal, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this case with liberty to approach the concerned Court for moving appropriate bail application and with a direction that if the proposed bail application is filed, it may be decided on merit as soon as possible.
Mr.Y.Ashang, learned PP has no objection.
Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the bail application No.2 of 2025 is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to approach the appropriate Criminal Court for filing fresh bail application, if so advised. And, if bail application is filed the same may be disposed of on merit as early as possible.
With the observation, the bail application is disposed of.
Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel for the parties.
