The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bashishtnagar P.S. Case No. 56 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 274 and 275 of B.N.S and Section 47(a) of Jharkhand Excise Act, pending in the court of Shri Binay Kumar Lal, learned C.J.M., Chatra. On 26.08.2025 at about 11:00 p.m, Bashisthnagar Police raided the house of the petitioner and seized illegal liquor from there. During raid, the police party also intercepted a Scorpio vehicle, bearing Registration No. JH-10-BM-1046 and on search, 25 cartoons of English liquors were recovered from the said vehicle. It was submitted that the petitioner was sleeping in his house from where illegal liquors were recovered. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 27.08.2025 and the chargesheet has been submitted in this case. It was finally submitted that co-accused Md. Saddam Husain @ Md. Saddam @ Saddam Husain has been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Shri Binay Kumar Lal, learned C.J.M., Chatra, in connection with Bashishtnagar P.S.
