2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dugda P.S. Case No. 46 of 2025 for the offences registered under sections 317(5)/338/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Sri D.N. Shukla, learned J.M.F.C., Bermo at Tenughat.
3. On 16.08.2025 at 7.15 p.m., Dugda Police on being suspicious, apprehended two persons on a motorcycle. It transpired that they were travelling on a stolen motorcycle. On the basis of confession of those apprehended accused persons, petitioner was apprehended and from his possession, one stolen motorcycle was recovered.
4. Mr. Gautam Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner was the bonafide purchaser of the seized motorcycle. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri D.N. Shukla, learned J.M.F.C., Bermo at Tenughat in connection with Dugda P.S. Case No. 46 of 2025.
