The petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 as he is involved in FIR No.16 dated 12.03.2025 under Sections 109, 115(2), 118(1), 191(3), 190 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, registered at Police Station Sherpur, District Sangrur. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case in hand by the complainant as he was nursing a grudge against the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has been attributed only a lalkara and no specific injury has been attributed to the petitioner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. At the asking of the Court, Mr.Amandeep Singh Samra, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant has opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. 7. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material placed on record. 8. The petitioner is involved in the abovementioned FIR wherein the petitioner along with eight other accused persons have given injuries to the complainant and he had suffered an injury on his head along with other grievous injuries which are dangerous to life. Since the petitioner was a part of the unlawful assembly which had the intention to kill the complainant, I do not find any ground to grant him the concession of anticipatory bail. 9. In the facts and circumstances as enumerated hereinabove, the present petition for grant of anticipatory bail is dismissed.
