1. Heard Mr. Achyut Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Saumitra Kesharwani, learned Panel Lawyer for the State/respondents.

“10.1 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records from the office of respondents with respect to the case of the petitioner. 10.2 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to pay pension, gratuity, P.F. and other retiral dues and benefits to the petitioner from the date of his retirement, with interest, in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. 10.3 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to finalize the pension case of the petitioner within stipulated time, preferably within a period of one week in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. 10.4 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider and allow the applications and representations filed by the petitioner (Annexure P/7) in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. 10.5 Any other relief (s) that this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to grant in the interest of justice.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner was working as Food Officer in District Bemetara and after attaining the age of superannuation, retired from service on 31.07.2024. After his retirement, the retiral dues for which he was entitled was not paid to him. He further submits that he has filed a representation before the respondent authorities, but the respondent authorities could not be considered and decided the same in a pragmatic manner, as such, a direction be issued to the respondent authorities to consider the case
3 of the petitioner at the earliest as the matter relates to release of retiral dues of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for respondents would submit that they are pursuing the matter but the petitioner himself has not co-operated, as such, retiral dues could not be given to him.
5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents annexed along with writ petition.
6. Be that as it may, the respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner with regard to retiral dues within a period of one month from today. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the respondent authorities. Respondents are directed to pass a speaking and reasoned order in this regard and if there is no hindrance, pay pension and retiral dues to the petitioner within one month.
7. With the aforementioned observation/direction, instant writ petition stands disposed of.
