The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Barkagaon P.S. Case No. 49 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 308(4), 308(5), 111(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Abhinav Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribagh. On 04.03.2025 at about 11:00 P.M., unknown accused persons went to the work site of Kaartik mines, Urimari and demanded rangdari from the Informant. They also threatened that unless rangdari was paid, no work should be carried out. It was submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody for about 8 months. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Abhinav Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribagh, in connection with Barkagaon P.S.
