(Oral) While placing on record communication dated 19.11.2025, issued under the signatures of Executive Engineer, B & R Division, HPPWD, Joginder Nagar, enclosing therewith copy of office order dated 04.11.2025 passed by Engineer-in-Chief, HPPWD, Shimla, Mr. Anish Banshtu, learned Deputy Advocate General, states that case of the petitioner has been considered, in light of judgment passed by Hon’ble Apex Court in Balo Devi’s case, subject to final outcome of writ petition filed by the State in afore case. 2. Having carefully perused aforesaid documents, which are taken on record, this Court finds that benefits, in terms of Balo Devi’s case, have been agreed to be extended to the petitioner and in that regard, directions have already been issued to Executive Engineer, B & 2 R Division HP PWD, Joginder Nagar, to take steps for extending the benefits. 3. In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant petition and accordingly, the same is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that consequential benefits flowing from the aforesaid compliance, if not already released, shall be released expeditiously, preferably within four weeks from today.
