V V PRABHAKARA RAO The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO: 15257 OF 2014 The present Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents 2 and 5 in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 16.05.2014 and cancel the election certificate issued to the 8th respondent and consequently direct the 5th respondent not to allow the 8th respondent to take oath as elected member of the 22nd Ward of Kadiri Municipality in view of the enquiry report of the 7th respondent as the same is illegal, arbitrary. 2. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the term of the elections pertaining to the year 2014 impugned in this writ petition has already been elapsed, as such, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for an adjudication by this Court. 3. While recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
