SARALA REDDY(SC FOR APSRTC,PNV) The Court made the following: Order:- The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking promotion on par with unofficial respondents Nos. 3 to 6 by taking into account their dates of regularization as fixed by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 02.08.2008. During the pendency of the writ petition, both the petitioners and the unofficial respondents have attained the age of superannuation. 2. This Court, vide order dated 30.12.2024, directed the learned counsel for the petitioners to take out personal notice on the 5th respondent and file proof of service. Notice was sent to the address mentioned in the cause title of the writ petition, however, it was returned due to insufficient address. 3. Be that as it may, as the petitioners and the respondents have attained the age of superannuation, grant of any relief directing promotion to the petitioners after their retirement cannot be considered in view of the law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Government of West Bengal and others vs. Dr. Amal Satpathi and others, dated 27.11.2024. 4. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
