W.P.L.R.T. No. 144 of 2025 Sri Surjaya Kumar Das Vs. The State of West Bengal and Ors. Mr. Pritam Choudhury (Through VC), Mr. Tamal Taru Panda …..For the petitioner. Mr. Ayan Banerjee, Mr. Priyamvada Singh ….For the State respondents.
1. The matter has been mentioned on behalf of the appellant for the purpose of altering our
judgment dated September 16, 2025 to the effect that the dismissal of W.P.L.R.T. 144 of 2025 be converted to a “disposal”.
2. However, it is evident from a perusal of the
judgment that upon elaborate hearing and on assigning reasons, we had categorically dismissed the appeal and affirmed the order of the learned Tribunal remanding the matter. We had also imposed costs on the private respondent nos. 5 and 6.
3. We do not find any reason as to why we should alter the operative portion of the order whereby we had dismissed the writ petition.
4. Accordingly, no further order need be passed since the matter had already been disposed of. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.) (Uday Kumar, J.) 2
