Notice to Respondent No.3 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order to be passed. 4. The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of Certiorari and quash the endorsement dated 12.08.2025 bearing Application.No.LW002S250000930 issued by R2 at Annexure-A; b. Issue a direction to R2 University to issue the eligibility certificate to the join/admit R3 College for 3-year LL.B course for coming academic year 2025- 2026. c. Further direct R3 College to admit the petitioner to the 3 years LLB Course for the academic year 2025-2026. d. Grant any other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the interests of justice. 5. Similar matter has been decided by this Court on 05.08.2025 in W.P.No.103653/2025 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:10644 WP No. 106116 of 2025 (Shri.Shamasundar vs. The State of Karnataka and another). The reasoning of this Court would be equally applicable to the present matter. Hence, the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is allowed. ii) A certiorari is issued, endorsement dated 12.08.2025 at Annexure-A issued by Respondent No.2 is quashed. iii) A mandamus is issued directing Respondent No.2 to issue eligibility certificate to the Petitioner on the basis of the B.A. degree completed by the Petitioner, for the purpose of admission into 3 years Law Course, within one week from today. iv) A certificate shall be issued by the end of day 23.8.2025 so as to enable the Petitioner to apply to a college of his choice. In the event of last date for payment of the admission fee having lapsed, the same is extended for a - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:10644 WP No. 106116 of 2025 period of one week thereafter to enable the Petitioner to make payment of the respective fee. v) The counsel for Respondent No.2 – University is directed to communicate the operative portion of the order of Respondent No.2, who shall act on the same without waiting for a certified copy of the order. vi) Hand delivery ordered.
