For the Respondents: Mr. Rajan Kahol and Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Ravi Chauhan and Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocate Generals. ____________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge(oral): While placing on record communication dated 09.12.2025, issued under the signatures of Superintending Engineer, Jal Shakti Circle Kullu, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, enclosing therewith copy of office order dated 08.12.2025 passed by aforesaid authority, Mr. Ravi Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General, states that respondents have considered the case of the petitioner afresh in light of judgment rendered by Hon'ble Apex Court in Surajmani’s case and he has been granted benefit of work charge status retrospectively. He states that on account of grant of work 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 charge status from retrospective date, provisional seniority list has been issued and same shall be finalized shortly. He further states that order of pay fixation, if not already issued, shall be issued expeditiously. 2. In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant petition and accordingly, same is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that petitioner is accorded due place in the seniority and his pay is fixed expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks.
