Issue a Writ of Certiorari, thereby quashing the impugned judgment dated 16/08/2013 passed by learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Belagavi, in Consumer Complaint No.31/2013 vide Annexure-A; ii. Declare that the proceedings initiated by the Respondent in Criminal Consumer Complaint No.155/2014 pending on the file of the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission vide Annexure-B as not maintainable. iii. What is essentially challenged by the petitioner is the order dated 16.08.2013 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Belagavi on various grounds including on the ground that it did not have jurisdiction. Whatever the grounds may be, the writ petition is not maintainable since the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy by filing an appeal before the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. 4.
