ORDER:
The instant Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed, by the Petitioners / Accused Nos.2 and 3, seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.938 of 2022 on the file of the Court of the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Prohibition
2 & Excise, Machilipatnam for the offences under Sections 498-A and 506 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Venkata Rao Penumaka,
learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the matter may be
disposed of, dispensing with the presence of the Petitioners before the trial Court.
3. Sri K.Rama Koteswararao, learned counsel for Respondent No.2 would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.
4. Considering the submissions made, the criminal petition is disposed of, dispensing with the presence of the Petitioners before the trial Court, except on the specific dates as directed by the trial Court. However, Petitioners are at liberty to raise all their contentions in their defence before the trial Court and the learned trial Judge may appreciate the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
