The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following relief: “A) Issue writ of mandamus or any other writ in the nature of writ direction to all the respondents particularly, the respondent No.5, the Director, Atalji Janasnehi Centre, Bengaluru to cumulative to consider the claim petition dated 07.09.23 for the payment due to the petitioner as per Annexure-W AND CAUSE ALSO TO PAY IT, along with future interest at 18 percent per annum and the litigation expenses of rs. 5 lakhs forthwith as shown below, in the interest of justice.” - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:1032 WP No. 102076 of 2024 2. Heard the learned counsel Shri Narayan G.Rasalkar appearing for the petitioner and the learned AGA Shri Sharad V.Magadum appearing for respondent No.4. 3. The petitioner is said to be a Contractor at Dandeli and has been entrusted with certain works at the hands of the State; venting out certain grievance has submitted a representation in terms of Annexure-W dated 07.09.2023. The representation is seeking certain payments from the hands of the respondents. That having not been considered, has driven the petitioner to this Court in the subject petition. 4. Learned AGA representing the State would submit that if reasonable time is granted the representation of the petitioner would be looked into and appropriate orders would be passed strictly in consonance with law. 5. In the light of the said submission, without going into the merit of the claim of the petitioner I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition directing the State to - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:1032 WP No. 102076 of 2024 consider the claim of the petitioner in terms of Annexure-W and pass necessary orders strictly in consonance with law within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, if not earlier.
