JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER Page No.# 4/4 17.08.2026 Ms. G Goswami, the learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. A Neog, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in the meantime, the lease which was granted in favour of the petitioner was cancelled and a fresh lease has been granted in favour of its holding company namely JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. 2. Taking into account the above, the present writ petition cannot be proceeded with inasmuch as the petitioner no longer holds a cause of action in respect to the lease which was granted. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. 4. It is, however, observed that the closure of the instant writ petition shall not affect the rights of the holding company of the petitioner namely JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., to approach this Court, if so advised.
