ORDER:
The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“ ... to issue an appropriate Writ or Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of mandamus declaring the highhanded action of the 2nd respondent in harassing the petitioners by frequently calling them to Chebrolu Police Station, Guntur District as being illegal and arbitrary, violative of articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently restrain the 2nd respondent from calling the petitioners herein to their office without following the due process of law and to pass ...”
2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on oral instructions would submit that the Police never called the Petitioners to the Police Station and that no cause survives in this writ petition and the same may be disposed of. 3.
Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that a direction may be given to the Police not to call the petitioners to the Police Station without following due process of law. 4. In that view, this Writ Petition may be disposed of. Respondent –Police are directed not to call the Petitioners to the Police station in connection with the subject crime without following due process of law. No order as to costs.
