JUSTICE V.SUJATHA WRIT PETITION No.31780 of 2015 ORDER: The present Writ Petition was filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…. to issue any appropriate writ more particularly issue writ of MANDAMUS Directing the respondents 2 to 4 to conduct enquiry against the validity of the authorization Hold by the 5th respondent and to take appropriate action and consequently direct the respondents 3 & 4 not to allot the essential commodities to the 5th respondent F.P. Shop and to pass such other order or orders ….” 2. The present writ petition was filed declaring the action of the respondent Nos.2 to 4 in not conducting enquiry against the validity of the authorization held by the 5th respondent. 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader has furnished a copy of the instructions of the Tahsildar i.e., respondent No.4 herein, dated 12.08.2025, wherein, it is stated that at present one Smt. J.Vasantha, president of Mounika Mahila Sangham of Netrapalli Village of Gummagatta Mandal, has been appointed as fair price shop dealer on temporary basis for shop No.1219019 by the Revenue Divisional Officer vide proceedings dated 29.04.2024 and as of now, she is distributing essential commodities without any complaints either from the card holders or from the authorities concerned, but, not the 5th respondent. 4 4. From the written instructions, it can be observed that the 5th respondent is no more running the fair price shop and it is one Smt. J.Vasantha, who is being appointed as the fair price shop dealer for the said shop in the year 2024. 5. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that no cause survives in this writ petition. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
