Veera Reddy, the learned Senior Counsel representing Sri J. Pradeep Kiran, the learned counsel for the appellant and Sri Turaga Sai Surya, the learned counsel for the respondent. 2. In pursuance of the orders of this Court dated 20.03.2025, both the learned counsels filed the joint memo signed by both the parties dated 16.04.2025 stating that both the parties agreed to take divorce by mutual consent for which they sought conversion of this appeal into mutual consent application subject to the amicable settlement that the appellant has to pay Rs.75,00,000/- by way of permanent alimony for the respondent and the said amount can be given in the form of demand draft for Rs.75,00,000/- in favour of the son of the parties by name Mr. Kanukollu Naga Sai Jagadeesh. Accordingly, both the parties are present in the Court today and they are identified by the both the learned counsels respectively. They have also produced their identity proofs and the copies of the same are submitted to the Court to be placed on record in the Court bundle as part of the Court record. 3. Both the parties submitted that they have been living separately for the last more than 25 years. 4. The appellant has submitted the Demand Draft in favour of his son Mr. Kanukollu Naga Sai Jagadeesh drawn on ICICI Bank dated 15.04.2025, vide DD No.503826 and the same is handed over to the respondent and her son 3 across the bar in the open Court and receiving of the same is acknowledged by the respondent and her son. The photocopy of the Demand Draft is also placed in the Court bundle. 5. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the decree of divorce is granted herewith by mutual consent dissolving the marriage between the appellant and the respondent dated 07.06.1995. 6. Accordingly, the relief of decree of divorce by mutual consent is granted by disposing of this appeal, converting into a mutual consent application. 7. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
