The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chowka P.S. Case No. 31 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201, 34, 506 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil. 3. On 23.05.2024, husband of the informant namely Santosh Rai went missing. Allegation has been levelled against the in-laws of the informant that due to money dispute, they might have committed his murder. Petitioner happens to be the brother-in-law of the informant. 4. Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record. It was further submitted that the statement of the independent witnesses has been recorded and they have stated that the deceased has met with an accident. 5. It appears that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court earlier. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil in connection with Chowka P.S.
