Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 191 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 64(2)(m) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar.

On the pretext of marriage, the petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix, who is a major lady. Later on, the prosecutrix was married elsewhere. The petitioner continued to establish physical relationship with her, even after her marriage.

It was submitted that the petitioner could not have married the prosecutrix, because she was married elsewhere.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 191 of 2025.
