The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondent No. 3 to decide the pending appeal before it, within the stipulated time frame. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that challenging the order dated 24.09.2020, the petitioner has filed an appeal under Rule 15 of Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999 before the Appellate Authority/General Administration Committee, which has been filed on 22.09.2021, but till date the appeal of the petitioner has not been decided by the said Appellate Authority, and therefore they may be directed to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner within the reasonable time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State has no objection, if such a direction is being made to the Appellate Authority to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within the reasonable time frame. 4. Considering the limited submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 3 to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner dated 22.09.2021 (Annexure P/12), in accordance with law, on its own merits, within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned. 3 5. The petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order within two weeks from today to the said Appellate Authority. 6. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition is disposed of.
