Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, ‘the BNSS’), for grant of interim bail to the petitioner for a period of two weeks i.e. from 27.03.2025 to 09.04.2025 in FIR No.88 dated 28.11.2021 (P-1), under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substance Act, 2021; Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 and Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Bhaini Mian Khan, District Gurdaspur, on account of making arrangements and attending the Marriage Ceremonies of his sister – Krishna Kaur, which is scheduled to be held on 06.04.2025. 2. On 27.03.2025, this Court while granting interim bail to the petitioner directed the State Authorities to produce the petitioner, in custody, for attending the marriage Ceremonies of his sister on 06.04.2025 at 10:00 AM and to again lodge him in the Central Jail, Bathinda by 05:00 P.M. on the same day. -1- DIWAKER GULATI 2025.05.14 18:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-16782-2025 3. Learned State has apprised the Court that in compliance of said order, petitioner was taken in custody for attending the marriage ceremony of his sister – Krishna Kaur on 06.04.2025 and thereafter, lodged back in Central Jail, Bathinda, on the same day. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, also, on instructions, acknowledged the above factual position and submits that since desired purpose is served; therefore, present petition be disposed off, “at this stage”. 5.
