Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had submitted a detailed comprehensive complaint with regard to the alleged work of tubewell at several places. Learned counsel submits that the respondents have undertaken enquiry of three tubewells only and found irregularities in the (2 of 2) [CW-12971/2025] same, but so far as the complaint with regard to the other works undertaken at other tubewells, no enquiry has been conducted and no action has been taken against the delinquent officer. Learned counsel submits that, under the compelling circumstance, the petitioners have approached this Court seeking appropriate directions. 2. Perusal of the record indicates that several allegations have been levelled against the delinquent officers with regard to various works undertaken at different tubewells. 3. In the considered opinion of this Court, if a complaint with regard to certain allegations have been filed by the petitioners, it is expected from the authorities concerned to enquire about the same and make appropriate enquiry in the allegations levelled and thereafter proceed against the delinquent persons in accordance with law, if anything adverse is found against them. 4. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of with the expectation from the respondents to make all possible endeavours to decide the complaint submitted by the petitioners, expeditiously as early as possible after providing due opportunity of hearing to all the respective persons. 5. All applications (pending, if any) also stand disposed of. 6. Before parting with this order, it is made clear that this Court has not issued any direction/order to the respondents to decide the complaint of the petitioners in a particular way. They would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J Karan/59
