JUSTICE S G PANDIT) This contempt petition is filed under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India alleging the disobedience of order dated 12.06.2024 passed in WP No.101033/2024, whereunder this Court passed the following order: i) The petition is allowed. ii) The writ of mandamus is issued to respondents No.2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 25.07.2023 and enter the names of the petitioners in the record of rights based on the registered sale deed with respect to RS No.163(1) the same shall be done within an outer limit of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 3. Today, an affidavit of present Tahsildar, Dharwad dated 28.10.2025 is filed enclosing three documents viz. office - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14450-DB CCC No. 100209 of 2025 orders, communication dated 14.10.2025, RTC and mutation in respect of Sy.No.163/1 of Madanabavi village. It is seen that in terms of order of learned Single Judge, the names of the complainants are entered in the RTC based on the sale deed in respect of the land in question. 4. On going through the affidavit as well as the documents enclosed to the affidavit, we are satisfied that there is substantial compliance with the direction issued by this Court. Learned counsel Smt. Soubhagya Vakkund for the complainants also submits that there is compliance with the order of the learned Single Judge. 5. In view of the above, further proceedings are dropped.
