The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 124 of 2004(A) arising out of Simdega P.S. Case No. 39 of 1997 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 101 of 1997, for the offences registered under Sections 307, 341, 323 and 34 of the I.P.C., Sections 25(1-B)A, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Simdega. 3. It was submitted that this is a case of misuse of privilege of bail for about 14 years. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since last four months. 4. Considering the period of misuse of bail, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. 5. The learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within nine months from the next date fixed for recording of the evidence failing which, the petitioner if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail.
