Petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.121 of 2024, arising out of Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 451 of 2024(N), for the offences registered under Section 132 of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 20(b)(ii)(B)/21(b)/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act., pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-X, Ranchi. On 28.08.2024, Sukhdeonagar police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons and on search, 3.060 kg. of cannabis and 8.5 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their possession. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-9 of this Bail Application. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-X, Ranchi, in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.121 of 2024, arising out of Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 451 of 2024(N). (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
