For the Respondents: Mr. Rajan Kahol, Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Ravi Chauhan and Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocate Generals. _______________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge(oral): Careful perusal of the report submitted by the learned Mediator reveals that the parties have been able to settle their dispute amicably interse them. Order dated 28.10.2025 passed by learned Mediator reveals that the parties have entered into a written compromised duly signed by them, whereby the respondent-Department, vide office order dated 06.10.2025, has acknowledged that a clerical error occurred in fixing the pay of the petitioner at the time of his regularization as Fisheries Field Assistant. The respondent-Department has further agreed to 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 withdraw the earlier orders dated 21.12.2024 and 01.01.2025, issued by the Assistant Director Fisheries, Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, as a consequence thereof, the petitioner’s pay shall be re-fixed correctly in the pay Band of Rs. 4900-10680 with Grade Pay Rs. 1400/-, with an initial start of Rs.6700 per month, effective from 06.07.2013, the date of his regular appointment. It has been also agreed interse parties that any amount recovered from the petitioner pursuant to the withdrawal orders shall be refunded to him without delay. In terms of the compromise arrived interse parties, petitioner has agreed that pursuant to the written compromise arrived interse parties, he shall have no further grievance or claim in respect of the pay fixation or recovery matter pending before the Hon’ble Court. The settlement agreement/compromise deed as well as copy of order dated 28.10.2025 passed by learned Mediator are made part of the record. 2. Consequently, in view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly, same are closed with a direction to the respondents to ensure that the needful in terms of written compromise, as detailed hereinabove, is done expeditiously, preferably within a period of 3 four weeks. Before parting, this Court places on record its appreciation for the sincere efforts put in by Mr. Shrawan Dogra, learned Senior Advocate, who, despite his busy schedule, spared valuable time to get the matter settled interse parties.
