2025:JHHC:33656 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI W.P.(S) No.6185 of 2025 ----- Sanjeet Kumar Ravi, S/o Lakhan Ram, R/o Village- Bundu, P.O. and P.S. Bundu, District- Ranchi .... Petitioner(s). Versus 1.The State of Jharkhand through its Secretary/ Principal Secretary, School Education and Literacy Department, Project Building, Dhurwa, Ranchi 2.The Director, Secondary Education, School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Jharkhand 3.The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission through its Secretary, Kali Nagar, Chai Bagan, Namkum, Ranchi … Respondent(s) ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Ms. Tanya Singh, Advocate For the State : Ms. Komal Tiwari, AC to A.G. For the Resp-JSSC : Mr. Sanjoy Piprawall, Advocate Mr. Prince Kumar, Advocate Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Advocate : Mr. Jay Prakash, Advocate …...... 03 / 11.11.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s candidature for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher has not been considered rather rejected on the ground that petitioner could not appear on the date when the document was being verified. It is submitted that the petitioner did not receive notice from the department, thus, the petitioner could not appear resulting in rejection of his candidature. 3. The issue has already been set at rest by this Division of this Hon’ble Court in LPA No.143 of 2024. (Nirmal Pahan & Others and The State of Jharkhand & Others and analogous cases). At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the issue has already been decided by the Division Bench and this case is covered by the same, but the SLP has been filed challenging the order passed by the Division Bench which is pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. 4. Be that as it may, since the issue has been settled by the Division Bench of this Court and there is no stay on the order of the Division Bench by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, I am of the opinion that the order passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench is applicable in this case also. Thus, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in this writ petition, accordingly the same is dismissed. 5. It is made clear that if ultimately the order of the Division Bench is set aside by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the case of the petitioner will also be governed by the same.
