The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 503/2024 arising out of Hussainabad P.S. Case No. 126/2006 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 1731/2006, for the offences registered under Sections 364 & 364A of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-II, Palamau. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 10602/2024 by order dated 13.02.2025. 4. The petitioner alongwith co-accused persons are alleged to have abducted the victim for realizing ransom. The victim is still traceless. 5. It was submitted that co-accused Sunil Pandey, who had faced separate trial, has been acquitted by the learned Trial Court. 6. Report regarding the stage of trial, earlier called for, has been received. It appears that charge has been framed in this case on 15.07.2025. It further appears that out of 08 charge-sheeted witnesses, 02 witnesses have already been examined and the trial is likely to be concluded within six months. 7. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is under progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 8. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within six months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence. 31 October 2025 (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
