01. Petitioner, through the medium of this petition, has prayed for the following reliefs:- (i) Commanding upon the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization under SRO 520 of 2017 dated 21.12.2017 having regard to the judgement dated 20.12.2019 passed by this Court at Jammu, in SWP No. 294/2014 titled “Jamal ud Din V/s State & Ors”. (ii) Commanding upon the respondents to release the unpaid salary of the petitioner.
02. It has been asserted that the petitioner, having been engaged as casual labourers/need based worker, in the respondents corporation since the year Serial No. 54

2011, has made several representations to the respondents for regularization in terms of the Government Policy on the subject notified vide SRO No. 520 of 2017 dated 21.12.2017, whereby, the petitioner is also entitled to be regularized.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall be satisfied, if this case is disposed of at this motion stage, with a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 21.07.2022 which has not been addressed to, by the respondents, so far.

In view of the contentions raised in the petition and submissions made on their behalf by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is ‘disposed of’ at this stage, with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in terms of SRO No. 520 of 2017 dated 21.12.2017, and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order alongwith a complete copy of this writ petition is made available to the respondents.
