Learned counsel for the parties submit that the instant petition does not survive in light of the order dated 11.12.2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No. 225/2024, by virtue of which, with the consensus of the parties, the aforesaid appeal has been disposed of in the following manner:- “(i) that the writ petition pending before the learned Single Judge i.e WP(C) No. 1768/2024 as also the proceedings pending before the Financial Commissioner (Rev), Jammu are disposed of. The parties i.e appellants and respondent No. 4 are relegated to the remedy of appeal before the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Adm.) (Collector Revenue) in terms of the order dated 16.07.2024 passed by the Additional Commissioner-1, Jammu. The parties shall appear before the Collector aforesaid on 19.12.2024. The Collector shall, in the first instance, hear both the parties on the grant of interim direction. The Collector shall make endeavor to dispose of the appeals on merits within a period of two months. (ii) Till the matter with regard to interim direction is considered and the appropriate orders are passed by the Collector, the parties shall maintain status quo.” 02. Thus, in light of the directions passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the aforesaid LPA, the instant petition is disposed of along with all connected applications.
