The court made the following ORDER:-
The writ petition is filed under article 226 of constitution of India, seeking the following main prayer:-
“declaring the action of the respondent in continuing the petitioner under suspension pending enquiry indefinitely with effect from 24.02.2016 as unconstitutional and opposed to the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in 2015 (7) SCC Page 291 and to consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service subject to the outcome in the disciplinary proceedings and pass”
2. The sum and substance of the writ petition is that the petitioner has challenged the extension of suspension period indefinitely with effect from 24.07.2016, imposed by the respondents-Devasthanam.

3. At the time of considering the matter, Smt. Maheswari, learned counsel appearing for the respondents-Devasthanam placed a copy of the proceedings dated 02.09.2020 issued by the 1st respondent and submits that after enquiry respondents-Devasthanam have dropped the charges levelled against the petitioner. Making the said submissions, she states that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
4. In response, Ms. Priyanvitha Poppuri, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be closed based on the proceedings dated 02.09.2020, placed on record.
5. Considering the submissions made by the both the counsel, the writ petition is closed by making proceedings dated 02.09.2020 as part of the record.
