The petitioner is challenging the inaction of the respondents in not considering the petitioner for promotion to the post of Panel Grade Head Master as per G.O.Ms.No.23, dated 01.04.2011. 3. The petitioner was aged 51 years when the writ petition was filed. 4. This Court vide order dated 16.04.2012 directed not to effect promotion to one post of Panel Grade Head Master in any of the schools of the respondent authorities for a period of eight weeks from that date. The interim order was not extended thereafter. 5. Considering the age of the petitioner at the time of filing this writ petition, the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation long back. 6. Recording the same, no further orders are required in this writ petition. 7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
