The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the following prayer:- "a) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents concerned to provide the door step delivery freight charges to the petitioner within stipulated period. b) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents concern to take appropriate legal steps as early in pursuance of his own letter dated 27.01.2025 of the respondent no. 2." 3. Pursuant to order passed by this Court, instructions dated 30.04.2024 under the signatures of Divisional Food Marketing Officer, Varanasi Region, Varanasi placed before this Court, the same is taken on record. 4. It is stated in paragraph 5 of the aforesaid instructions that claim bills of the petitioner for 6 financial years, by letter dated 26.04.2025, the amount of Rs. 86307/- has been transferred to the account of the petitioner on 29.04.2025. It is further stated in paragraph 6 of the aforesaid instructions that the bills for remaining 9 years will be paid by the respondents expeditiously. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the authorities concerned to take appropriate steps to make the payment of remaining amount expeditiously.
