Kakati, the learned counsel for the appellant, who submits that this matter was referred to mediation by this Court and during the mediation process, the parties reached at an amicable settlement and the Insurance Company agreed to settle this appeal by paying a compensation amount of Rs. 45,00,000/- to full and final satisfaction. 2. Though, none has appeared for the respondent side. 3. This Court has gone through the report of the Mediators, which is annexed with the report as flag ‘A’. 4. On perusal of the report of Mediator dated 27.07.2026, it appears that the appellant Insurance Company has agreed to pay an amount of Rs. 45,00,000/- to the respondents as full and final amount. 5. In view of the report of the Mediators and the amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, this appeal is disposed of in terms of the amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, the appellant shall deposit the agreed amount of Rs.45,00,000/- before Page No.# 3/3 the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks from the date of this Order. 6. On such deposit, the amount shall be disbursed to the claimants after proper verification. 7. Out of the total agreed amount of Rs.45,00,000/-, an amount of Rs.6,00,000/- which shall be deposited in the fixed deposit for a period of two years in the name of each of the claimant. 8. The statutory amount deposited by the appellant at the time of filing this appeal may be returned back to the appellant after proper verification. 9. This appeal is accordingly, disposed of.
