Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 111(2)(ii), 317(2), 317(4), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S. 2023 and Sections 66B, 66C & 66D of the I.T. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Jamtara.

On 18.02.2025, Cyber police Jamtara, on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals had assembled in village Karmatanr near Jasaidih Palas forest area, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons. On search, two mobile phones and Sims were recovered from possession of this petitioner.

It was submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for about nine months.

Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Jamtara in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 14of 2025.
