Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the writ petition, which has been disposed of by the learned Single Judge vide judgment impugned, the petitioners/appellants herein had, in the alternative, prayed for de-notification of the land for which the process for acquisition was initiated by the Collector concerned by issuance of notification under Section 4(1) of the J&K Land Acquisition Act on 07.05.2005. He, therefore, submits that the petitioners have now come to be informed that the said land stood already de-notified vide notification dated 21.05.2013 and, therefore, there remains no grievance with the appellants to pursue this appeal. He, therefore, submits that this appeal, with the aforesaid development, is rendered infructuous. 2. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the appellants, nothing survives in this appeal and the same is, accordingly, dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
