[2025:RJ-JP:38233] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 2547/2012 Raj Singh Dhillon S/o Shri Om Prakash Dhillon, aged 27 years, R/o 566, Jems Colony, Sector-5, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. ----Petitioner Versus 1. The State of Rajasthan through Principal Secretary (Home) Govt. of Rajasthan, Secretariat, Jaipur. 2. Director General of Police, Rajasthan, Jaipur. 3. Superintendent of Police, Rajasthan Police (H.Q.) Jaipur (Raj.) ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Kawal Singh Loha For Respondent(s) : Mr. Somitra Chaturvedi, Dy. GC HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 18/09/2025 1. Petitioner has filed the instant writ petition with following prayer:- "It is, therefore, humbly prayed that Your Lordships may graciously be pleased to accept and allow this writ petition and (i) by appropriate writ order or direction the respondents may kindly be directed to call the petitioner for physical test and further process accordingly. (ii) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be given in favour of the petitioner." 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents has pointed out that the petitioner has secured only 40.875 marks in the written examination, whereas cut-off marks for OBC Category (Male) in the written test were 63.750. Hence, under these [2025:RJ-JP:38233] (2 of 2) [CW-2547/2012] circumstances, on account of securing lesser marks, the petitioner did not qualify for the physical test. 3. No rejoinder to reply has been filed in order to deny the aforesaid factual position. 4. Under these circumstances, there is no force in the writ petition, and the same is hereby dismissed.
