… … Opposite Parties
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR -----
For the Petitioner
: Mr. Amit Kumar, Advocate
For the Opposite Party No. 2 : Mr. Ashish Kumar, AC to SC (Mines)-III -----
06/01.12.2025 The present contempt petition has been filed for initiating a contempt proceeding against the contemnors/opposite parties alleging wilful violation of the order dated 27.01.2025 passed in W.P.(C) No. 5712 of 2024.
2.
Mr. Ashish Kumar, AC to SC (Mines)-III appearing on behalf of the opposite party no. 2, while referring to the order dated 13.02.2025 (Annexure-A to the show cause affidavit dated 07.10.2025) passed by the opposite party no. 2 (wrongly mentioned as opposite party no. 4), submits that in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, the petitioner’s claim for payment of compensation in lieu of acquisition of the land in question was considered and the same was rejected.
3.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, the opposite party no. 2 has already passed the reasoned order, I see no reason to further proceed in the contempt petition. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no. 2 is

dropped.
4.
The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
5. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse as available under law against the order dated 13.02.2025 passed by the opposite party no. 2.
