A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under section 7-B read with 8(B) of the A.P. Prohibition Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, 'lS that, Oh 02.01.2025, at about o4.45 PM, on reliable information, the Sub-Inspector Of police, I Town (L&O) Police Station, RajamahendraVaram, along with his staff, while conducting raid opposite to Durgamma Talli Temple, Near Coconut Market, MangalaVaraPuPeta, Rajamahendravaram, found A2 and A3 in possession Of 30 litres of lD liquor. They confessed that Al supplied the Said lD liquor to them for selling purpose. The contraband Was Se'lZed under cover of an occurrence report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner Submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is falsely implicated in the present crime based on the confessional statement Of CO-accused and noth'lng has been seized from his possession. He further submits that most of the investigation is completed. 5, On the contrary, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the investigat'lon ®ls in progress and if the petit'loner _---,,---_ - .-`~ q>G33i_ _ _ I 3 J7 is granted anticipatory bail, he may hamper the process of investigation and-tamper with the prosecution evidence. 6. Heard. Perused the record. 7. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that based on the confessional stateinent of co-accused, the name of the petitioner herein was shown as accused in the present crime and no contraband is seized from his possession. Major portion of investigation is completed. 8. ln view of _the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail tO the petitioner/Al on the following conditions. i) In the event of arrest of the petitioner herein/Al in the aforesaid crime, he shall be enlarged on bail on his executI'ng a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the concerned Arresting Officer. ii) petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by a police offlICer aS and When required, and he Shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat Or Promise tO any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to 4 I/ dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer. iii) Petitioner shall appear before the station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e., on every saturday between 10.00 AM and 01.00 PM till filing of charge sheet. 9. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
