Learned counsel for petitioners submitted that vide earlier order dated 08.04.2025, protection was extended to the petitioners which facilitated into smooth registration of marriage and certificate of the same has also been obtained by petitioners in respect of their marriage but even though there is threat and apprehension of danger to life, is still persisting at the behest of respondent no.4 to the petitioners and as such, protection granted earlier vide order dated 08.04.2025, may be extended for some more days. 2. Per contra, learned Standing Counsel opposed the prayer so made by learned counsel for petitioners the said protection was granted only for the purposes of registration of marriage solemnized by petitioners and the same has already been registered and as such, there is no requirement of protection any more. 3. Considering the arguments raised by learned counsel for petitioners as well as circumstances described by him, protection granted earlier vide order dated 08.04.2025, is hereby extended for next two months and the same shall be discontinued thereafter. 4. The instant petition stands disposed of accordingly. 5. Learned Standing Counsel is hereby requested to intimate this order directly to Senior Superintendent of Police, Moradabad within 48 hours.
