The petitioner has approached this Court, by way of the present writ petition, contending that he married the alleged detenue and were living together from 20.04.2024. But the father and brother of the alleged detenue 2 RRR, J & MRK, J W.P.No.1175/2025 had forcibly taken away the alleged detenue and are detaining her illegally and against her wishes. 3. In such circumstances, we have directed production of the alleged detenue. 4. Today, the alleged detenue is personally present in the Court and we have interacted with her. She has stated that she knows the petitioner well. However, she wishes to stay with her father and family. 5. In the circumstances, this writ petition is closed, without any observations in relation to the allegations and counter allegations made in the present writ petition. There shall be no order as to costs.
