An application for relation of conditions of bail in connection with Onda Police Station Case No.74 of 2022 dated 25.05.2022 under Sections 341/323/276A/376B/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and adding Section 4/6 of POCSO Act corresponding to Special POCSO Case No.18 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional District and Session Judge, 2nd Court, Bankura. -And- In the matter of : Swapan Lohar … Petitioner Mr. Soumik Ganguly, …for the petitioner Ms. Srilekha Chatterjee …for the State Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. State files report which is taken on record. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted bail with condition not to enter the jurisdiction of Onda Police Station which has been duly complied by him for the last 3 years. Six out 19 witnesses has already been examined including the victim. He seeks for waiver of such condition. 2 Learned Advocate for the State also submits that the condition as imposed by this Court has been complied with. It is found that the conditions as imposed vide order dated 6th September, 2022 passed in CRM(DB) 3005 of 2022 has been duly complied with. Accordingly, the condition that the petitioner shall not enter the jurisdiction of Onda Police Station and shall report to the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned Police Station within whose jurisdiction he shall presently reside once in a week until further order is waived. Petitioner is directed to report to the Officer-in-Charge of Onda Police Station once in a month or until further orders. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.)
