The Court Made the Following Order:-
This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“to issue a Writ Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in engaging the workers unauthorisedly and paying the wages through the contractors without the certification of contractor society and continuing the

employment of age barred workers and not allowing the societies/contractors to deduct the advances while paying wages to the workers employed by them as illegal arbitrary and violative of Art 14, 16 and 21 of Constitution of India and also against the Payment of Wages Act 1936 The Contract Labour Act and the Labour and Industrial Law and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to allow the Societies/Contractors to appoint and remove their workers through the contractor societies only and allow the societies/contractors to pay wages into the accounts of workers employed by them after deduction of advances by following the Payment of Wages Act 1936 The Contract Labour Act and the Labour and Industrial Law and be pleased to pass...”
2. There is on record, on 16.05.2025, withdrawal letter signed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is filed, wherein it shows that the petitioner intends to withdraw the Writ Petition. However, acting upon the contents of the said withdrawal letter dated 16.05.2025 filed by the petitioner, permission is accorded to withdraw the Writ Petition.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
