Heard Sri Kasa Jaganmohan Reddy, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare for the Respondents. 3. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that though the Petitioner is a meritorious candidate than the Respondent No.4, she was selected for the post of Anganwadi Worker. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner would further submit that the Petitioner secured 486 marks in 10th class whereas, the Respondent No.4 got 320 marks in 10th class. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner would further submit that the Petitioner is entitled for the post of Anganwadi Worker whereas the Respondent-Authorities wrongly selected the Respondent No.4. 4 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare would submit that as per G.O.Ms.No.18, Women Development and Child Welfare Department dated 15.05.2015, the parameters are framed for selection of Anganwadi Workers by the District Level Committee, consisting of District Collector as the Chairperson, R.D.O concerned, DM&HO/Addl. DM&HO, CDPO concerned, Project Director, DW & CDA being members. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that irrespective of the marks secured in 10th class, one would get 50 marks and other parameters are there as per G.O.Ms.No.18. The Petitioner as well as the Respondent No.4 attended the interview. The Petitioner secured 13 marks whereas the Respondent No.4 secured 19 marks in the interview. As such, the total marks secured by the Respondent No.4 are 69 marks whereas, the Petitioner secured 63 marks. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that there are no merits in the petition and prays of dismissal of the petition. 5. Considering the submissions made and a fair look at the material placed on record, there is some force in the contention of the Government that as per G.O.Ms.No.18, marks secured in the 10th class examinations is not the criteria, irrespective of such marks, if the individual passed 10th class would get 50 marks. It is beneficial to refer the parameters mentioned in the G.O.Ms.No.18 dated 15.05.2015 which is extracted hereunder: 5 Sl.No. Parameters Marks 1. If 10th class passed 50 2.
