GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring action of Respondents in interfering with my profession of exhibiting gaming stall viz. Ring throw. Ball Box, Dart throw at the Fairs on the occasions like dasara, Sankranthi, Vinayakachavithi Etc. Districts of Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Alluri Sita Rama Raju, Parvathipuram Manyam, and Vizianaganaram Districts and the surrounding districts whenever arranged by villagers as highly arbitrary and illegal capricious and violative of Article 19 (1) (g) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents not to interfere in exhibiting my skill game stall.” 2. Sri Dhanyamraju Uma Maheswara Rao, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Respondents – Police are interfering in the activities of the Petitioner in exhibiting the skill game stall and a direction may be given to the Police not to interfere with the same. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit the Court may pass appropriate order. 4. Considering the submissions made, if the Petitioner’s activity is restricted only to the exhibition of skill games, the Authorities are directed not to interfere in exhibiting the skill game stall by the Petitioner. However, it does not preclude the authorities to take necessary action, in the event Petitioner taking up any illegal activities on the premise that he is exhibiting skill games. There shall be no order as to costs. 5. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
