GP FOR SCHOOL EDUCATION (AP) The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 33029 of 2018 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the Proceedings in Rc.No.6731/B1/2017 dated 04.09.2018 issued by the 4th respondent whereby and whereunder directing the petitioner to submit the proposals for promotion of the 6th respondent herein as school assistant social studies aided as illegal arbitrary and contrary to the existing Rules vide G.O.Ms.No.75 dated 23.09.2002 and also the Proceedings in Rc.No.90/PS2/20171 dated 20.07.2017 of the 1st and 2nd respondents and set aside the same with a further direction to fill up the vacancy of School Assistant Post Social Studies by way of direct recruitment and to pass…” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri T.V.S.Kumar, learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that in the light of the proceedings issued by the District Education Officer dated 02.03.2024, no further orders are required in this matter. Learned Counsel would further submit that by virtue of these proceedings, the School Authorities can recruit the persons in the aided posts by way of direct recruitment and in view of the same, petition may be disposed of. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
