By this petition, petitioner is seeking direction upon Respondent No. 2 to decide his application dated 26.04.2025 for issuance of Fard Intekhab of land measuring 04 Marlas under Khewat No. 41, Khata No. 481 min, Khasra No. 271 min and 03 Marlas under Khewat No. 43, Khata No. 503 min, Khasra No. 203 min, situated at Dhindey Kalan, Tehsil R S Pura, District Jammu. 2. The short controversy involved in the instant petition is that the petitioner, who is serving in the Indian Army and is the owner of the land (supra) has filed an application before Respondent No. 2 through online portal of the Revenue Department on 26.04.2025 along with payment of requisite fee. However, the said application is still pending consideration. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied if the instant petition is disposed of at this stage by directing respondents, particularly Respondent No. 2, to consider Sr. No. 116 2 WP (C) No. 1767/2025 the application filed by the petitioner within some reasonable period of time. 4. Confronting with the same, Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that she is not averse to the proposition made by learned counsel for the other side. 5. In the aforesaid backdrop and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant petition, at this stage, without issuing any formal notice to the respondents, by directing the respondents, particularly Respondent No. 2-Tehsildar R S Pura, District Jammu, to consider the application dated 26.04.2025 filed by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date, copy of this order is served upon him. 6.
